Service Description
Family therapy or family counseling is designed to address specific issues that affect the psychological health of the family, such as major life transitions or mental health conditions. It may be used as the primary mode of treatment or as a complementary approach. Families can benefit from therapy when they experience any stressful event that may strain family relationships, such as financial hardship, divorce, or the death of a loved one. In addition, it can be effective in treating mental health concerns that impact the family as a whole, such as depression, substance abuse, chronic illness, and food issues, or everyday concerns, like communication problems, interpersonal conflict, or behavioral problems in children and adolescents. Family counseling aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals. For example, if a child is having social and academic problems, therapy will focus on the family patterns that may contribute to the child's acting out, rather than evaluating the child's behavior alone. As the family uncovers the source of the problem, they can learn to support the child and other family members and work proactively on minimizing or altering the conditions that contribute to the child's unwanted behavior.
Terms of Service
1. For any services purchased, the EduPsych team shall make 3 attempts to reach the customer for confirmation of the services. In case, the customer fails to respond within 7 days of the last communication, the service will be treated as consumed and no refunds shall be provided by EduPsych. 2. In case of technical difficulties during or at the time of the session, EduPsych will check with their service providers. If the case is adjudged to be genuine, the appointment shall be rescheduled. 3. For Audio, Video and Text Sessions, in case, the customer fails to turn up at the time of the appointment, EduPsych will NOT reschedule the session. The appointment will be treated as consumed and no refunds shall be provided by EduPsych. 4. For any appointments, any no shows are treated as availed services and no refund or rescheduling shall be provided by EduPsych in such a scenario. 5. For any reschedules, the customer can login to their account on our platform and do so with more than an hour's time in advance to the time of the session. Appointment Bundles: All bundles need to be availed within 6 months from the date of purchase. Additionally, all individual items in the bundles shall also be bound by the terms on appointments. Please note the specific refund policy in the event of the following circumstances: User(s) can make payments through any of the following available options: Internet Banking Debit/ Credit Cards UPI The User agrees and accepts that all nuances and modalities relating to making payment using Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Cards/UPI (“Virtual Payment Mode”) shall be separately governed by arrangement(s) / terms and conditions between the User and the relevant banks. We shall not be responsible, in any manner whatsoever, for any liability that may arise in relation to the Virtual Payment Modes (including any fraudulent transaction). While availing any of the payment method(s) available on the Website, we will not be responsible or assume any liability, whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to You due to (a) lack of authorization for any transactions; (b) any payment issues arising out of the transaction or (c) decline of such transaction for any reason. You understand, accept and agree that the payment facility provided us, is neither a banking nor financial service. EduPsych reserves its right to change the charges for Services, at any time, without the requirement of any prior intimation to the User. Any such change shall be binding and effective on the User.
